In February 2018, WWF Tanzania hosted the first Global Forest Forum in Dar es Salaam; which brought in several global forest experts. The dialogue focused on the global forest agenda and its contribution to sustainable development goals. The Forum was hailed by Dr Amani Ngusaru - the Country Director for Tanzania office
